What Nearbidly is
Nearbidly is an auction platform. Each auction is run by an independent business that is the seller of the prize. That business's name is always shown on the auction page.
Free to bid
Taking part costs nothing. There are no bid fees and no entry fees, and nothing is decided by chance. The highest valid bid at the fixed close time wins.
Clear rules up front
Every auction shows its starting price, close time, payment window and terms before you register. Read the Auction Terms and Official Rules.
Only the winner pays
The winner pays the business directly through Stripe within 24 hours. If they don't, the prize goes to the runner-up. Nearbidly never stores card details.
You control messages
Auction alerts are texts and emails you ask for when you register. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. See our SMS program.
For bidders
Register in under a minute with your name, mobile number, ZIP code and email. We text you a one-time code to confirm your number. Then bid, or name the price that's right for you, and follow the live leaderboard.
For businesses
Businesses use Nearbidly to run fun, fair auctions for their own services. The platform handles registration, live bidding, payment and the auction alerts. The business follows up with interested bidders through its own phone number and email.
